On The Range At Levin
Last Saturday the Levin Defence Rifie Ciub fired ten shots a:t 300 yards and 800 yards, -a variable wind making- conditions fairly difficult. The outstanding soorer! for the day was P. R. Catley, who returned a brLliant possible at 800, yards. iScores were; — P. R. Catldy 44 — 50 — 94, A. L. Lumsden 42—47 — 89, i S. C. Aanensen 44 — 44 — 88, R. G. Gurney 40 — 47 — 87, J. L. Graham 44 — 42—86, S. L". Lumsden 41—44 — 85, K. A. Graham 43—42 — 85, M. F. Fletcher 43—41—84, F, J. Graham 42 — 42 — 84, W. D. Carle 41—42—83, D. Standish 41—41-82, and F. Bryce 39 — 36 — 75. Several ladies again fired over the smal'l-tore range and some excellent scores resulted. Next Saturday the club will fire at 500 and 600 yards.
