Six Cases Of Typhoid Among Crew Of Liner
Received Thursday, il a.m. LONDON, Dec. 21. Six cases of typhoid fever have been confirmed among members of the crew of the liner Mooltan, which herthed ih London from • Australia ori December 15. Eight more of the crew are in hospital as suspecfed typhoid cdses. The eause of the outbreak has not yet been detefniined, b'ut the Mooltan's sailing, scheduled fof January 4,: ha& been cahcelled. 'THe Ministry of Health and the port health authorities are notifying the health dffi'Cers in all towns to xvhich the passengers and crew' have travelied; The Mooltan has been quarantincd twicd this year because of smallpox.
