Hospital Boards Ask That Merger Be Delayed
WHANGAREI, Dec. 21. By four to two votes, a conference of the six Northland hospital boards decided to ask the Minister of Health to hold up the amal--gamation of the Boards, which is schedule'd to take effect on April 8. The purpose of the resolution is to postpone the amalgamation until a further 'survey has been made and the boards concerned are informed what benefits wil^ be gained I from the change. s
