Strong Quakes Near Cape Horn

Received Sunday, 9 p.m. BUENOS AIRES, Dec. 17. A series of strong earthquakes rocked Tierra Del Fuego .Island lying south of Magellan Strait today. Walls tumbled in the Chilean city of Punta Arenas on Tierra Del Fuego and minor damage was „aused at Ushuaia, capital of the Argentine portion of the island. „ No casualties were reported from either centre. Navarion island was believed to have been the epicentre. There is a smaii settlement on the island from which rio report has been received. The strongest shock wrecked the seismograph needles at the» Argentine Air Force and Natioiial Meteorological Station at Buenos Aires.
