OTAKI JUNIORS GET EASY EIGHT POINTS
Playing in the junior competition, College A failed to produce more than 48 r'uns in two innings to give Otaki B an eight pomt win. College's batting was very dour and the first and second innings totals were 20 and 28 respectively. Bowling for Otaki, 1 Templey took four first innings wickets for 4 runs, Knox two for 0 and T. Cook two for 4. Templey again claimed four wickets in the second innings, this time at a cost of 7 runs. Other bowlers were Cook- two _for 7 and Bartosh two for 4. ^ . . Otaki's visit to the wicket was slightly more productive with a tally of 50 runs, the top scorer being Julius with 12. Bowling for College, Buckingham took four wickets for 25 runs and Brazier four for 22. ,
