WELLINGTON, Dec. 16. A fire which swept througn t'h'e top rooms of two adjacent old two-sto'rey wooden houses in Luxford Btreet, Berhampore, Wellington, thia morning left several occupants with the clotlies they were wearing as their only belongings. First going through a rooming house and then jumping to the vjiext door house where a family of six- livecf, the fire ruined furniture, bedding, ciothes and belongings, all of them uninsurea. A five-month-old baby and an invalid man were saved from danger in the outbreak which was well under way before those inside knew about it.
