Young Anglican Club Holds Christmas Dance
' ' 1 ' 1 ^ • i A Christmas dance arranged toy1 ■ the Shannon Youn'g Anglican Cluband held in the' Parish Hall was attended by a very large number , s of the younger set. Holly, streams i ers and balloons were used as decorations and the extra dainties added to the usually acceptedl supper were- thoroughly enjoyed. Opening with a novelty "fin'd, 5 your partner" waltz, there was never a dull moment. A game was introduced and competition dances. were won by Mr." N. Clough and, MTs S. E. Hyde and Mr. M. Higgie and Miss M. MacLean. At the ccnclusion of a short supper waltz,' s the lights were turned out and^ entering: by the front door with a lighted iamp, Mr. Allan Lucinsky proceeded' to the top of the hall singing delightfully "Silent Night." Here he turned and all joined in singing again the first verse. During Ihe evening two 'solos werealso sung by Mr. Lucinsky. Mrs. T. Fuller supplied the music for' the dancing and Mr. Brian Morrison provided extras. The M.C> , was Mr. S-. Cliester.
