. Lake Taupo Fishing Improving
TAUPO, Dec." 12. The condition. of the trout being taken in most areas around Lake Taupo has improved in the pa;St few days. Although small, some fine pink fish have come in with the ehange of the wind from the south-west. Fishing at the Waitahanui mouth yesferday showed a big improvement but, while plentiful, the fish were shy. There were up to 24 fods in 'the rip and two 91b; trout were landed. Anglers returned a large nuinber of under-conditioned fish. No iimits were reported. Conditions at the Tongariro Biver are reported to be improving. This is earlier than is* usual. " -
