The' . indentifiable articles are being dried out and will be delivered in due course. Schoolboys' Teievision Set. New Zealand's first telewsion set has been made by a sixth former at the Whangarei Boys' High School, Lloyd L. Dyer. Lloyd suceeeded in transmitting through wires, the image of a design scratched on a photographic negative. An earlier attempt made in August to televise the image of the sun, was also suceessful although the appara'tus was not completed. The entire equipment, costing £50, was made by Lloyd at sehool with the help of two other pupils. A fiVe iiich cathode ray tube intended for a radar set. forms the main part of the receiver.
