GREYMOUTH, Dec, 14A young ex-sehman from SCotland, who had had five cohvietions sihce deserting his ship at Dunedin early this year, was sentenced to three ihOhths' imprisonment for the UnlaWful conversion of a motor truck when he appeared in the Police Court befoie two Justices of the PeaCC at Greymouth. • Accused, who pleaded guilty, had been convicted a fortnight agb for theft. Accused was GePrge MCNdil, aged 24, an effiployee of the RdilWays Department.
