The United Nations General Assernbly resolved today to send Nationalist China's charges against the Soviet Union aqd the Chinese Coinmunist regime to the Interim Committee or "Little [Assembly" for "continuous study and j examination. ' ' | The Assembly also adopted a resolu- ! tion ealling on all members to maintain a 'hands off' policy toward China. The resolution sponsored by the United States, Australia, Mexico, Pakistan and the Philippines, endorsed the right of the Chinese people to choose their own Government and urging all countries to respect existing treaties relating to China. The "hands off" resolution was adopted by 45 to 5 votes. The Soviet bloc voted against the referenee of China's complaints to the "Little Assembly" which had been boyeotted by the Soviet Union. The voting was 32 for and five against. Reuter says the resolution empowered the "Little Assembly" tp make a thorough examination of the charges and report its detailed findings to the next session of the General Assembly. The "Little Assembly ' ' was also eropowered to report the findings to the United Nations Secretary-General for 1 referenee to the Security Cguneil 1 ' if it deems- it necessary. ' ' l Dr. Tsiang, leader of the Nationalist ' China 's delegation, said later he wa,s disappointed that the General Assem.,bly had refused to approve his proposal for outright condemnation of Sqviet Union aid to the Chinese Com.munists and for a ban on reeognition 1 of the Chinese Communlsts.
