Atomic power did not eome in small packages, Mr Lawrence Hafstad, of the Unitea States Atomis Energy Commission, told a meeting of ehemieal engineers. ' ' Maehines for extracting atomic energy are all necessarily of a relatively large size, thus atomie powered motor cars and honsehold gadgets should be promptly eliminated from oux thinking. "
