Women's Inter-Club Croquet
The final round of the women's inter-club croquet matches was held last Thursday, Levin playing Manawatu on the Northern greens. The local team won the day by 85 points to 70. Results to date indicate -thatLevin may again win the banner which they hold from last season. The final result will be decided when Takaro have played their last round. The individual scores were as foliows, with Levin liames mentioned first: — Singles: Mrs. Gilmour 14, lost; to Mrs. Turner 26; Mrs. Bull 19 v. Mrs. Davidson 20 (game not com-i pleted) . I Doubles: Mesdames Mason and Findla'ter ' 26, beat Mesdames Gausted and Douglas 6; Mesdames Dalzell and Boulton 26, beat Mesdames Curren and Northey 18. In the match for the Brown Futtons Mesdames Boulton and Bull 20, lost to Mesdames Gilmour and Noble 26.
