Fatal Accident At Otaki Racecourse

Severe head injuries from which he later died ini the Palmerston North Hospital were sustained by Vivian Sinnamon, aged 13. a nephew of Mr. W. McEwen, in a mishap during training at the Otaki raceeourse yesterday. The accident occurred about 6.30 a.m. when Kaianga, ridden by W. Wilson, overtook and collided with Sleepy Boy, who was in charge of Sinnamon. Both riders were thrown, Sinnamon suffering head injuries and Wilson a broken collarbone. Sinnamon was admitted to hospital, but succumbed about 7 o'clock last night. An inquest was opened in Palmerston North today. „
