Charges Follow Stabbing Of Sarawak Governor
Received Tuesday, 9.20 a.m. SINGAPORE, Dec. 5. Two Malay youths were charged before a magistrate at Sibu today with the attempted murder of the Governor of Sarawak, Mr. Duncan Stewart. Officials said today that police investigations seem to indicate that the crime was planned by certain leaders of the Persatuan Permuda Melayu (Union of Young Malays).
