Levin Bride Chooses Gown Of Ivory Georgette
St. John's Methodist Church, 5 Levin, was the scene of the recent 1 marriage of Joyce Eveline, only \ daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. R. [ Salmons, of Levin, to Richard r Athol Hunter, also of -Levin. The i Rev. H. S. Kings officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a lovely^ model gown of ivory georgette, _ with the yoke embroidered in silver and finishe'd wtih pin tucks, the skirt being fully pleated and forming a train. Her full-length embroidered tulle veil was held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms She carried a beautiful bouquet of , white carnations and roses. I Attending her as bridesmaids - were her . cousins, Misses Iris : Holland, of Palmerston North, 1 and Patricia Stratford, of Levin, ! both of v whom wore corn1 flower blue marquisette over poullt taffeta. The bodices were trimmed with rows of goxd bea'ding. They wore blue net mit- • tens and head-dresses to tone, and 5 carried bouquets of pink carnations and roses. Mr. Jack Hunter, 1 of Feilding, was best man and • Mr. John Salmons groomsman, _ During the signing of the regis- : ter Mrs. N. Harrington sang "Bless ' This House." - . ; A reception was held m ^tne 1 Regent Hall. Mrs. Salmons'" wore • a blue ensemble and navy hat, and carried a posy of red roses. ) For travelling the bride chose a 1 smart blue embroidered frock, grey coat, blue hat trimme'd with : pink flowers and grey veiling with > grey accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Hunter will reside in Levin.
