Plane Crashes Reported Deliberately Planned
Received Sunday, 7 p.m. SY'DNEY, Dec. 4. The inquiry, which has been conducted in elose seerecy, has revealed that the crashes of a numher nf Liberator bombers in the war vears, were deligeratelv planned and that sabotage to R.A.A.F. planes was carried out on three oeeasions during the past 18 months. The Sun report sa.ys the sabotage has not been ascribed to the influenee of anv foreign Power and that the motive ha-« not yet been established. Valuable infnrmation has been given bv an R.A.A.F. eorporal who was in an aircraft which landed in flames after two engines had caught fire. Five aireraf't were sabotaged at Tocumwal aerodrome tio miles southwest of Sydney in 1944.'
