How The Maoris Voted Yesterday
The Maori electors who went to the polls yesterday, gave a very definite vote in favour of the Labour Party continuing as the Government. As at the last/ election the majorities were substantial. Western Maoris selected Mrs. Ratana who will thus be the first Maori woman to occupy a seat in the House Of Representatives. Details are as follow; —
