GISBORNE, NoV. 30. Polling in the Eastern . Maoi'i district 1 indieated that there were some gaps- in the compilation of the first Maori electoral roll, for whereas the roll listed 12,780 names the total number of votes cast was 13,417, with one small Booth's return to come.
