A few details concerning the establishmeht of the Levin - Maternity Home were eontained in the report of the managing-secretary (Mr. A. J. Phillipps) at the monthly meeting of the Palmerston" North Hospital Board yeSterday. Mr. Phillipps said- that the building. in the main would be erecte'd ih wood with a canCrete subway, concrete floors in service rooms and concrete would be used in certain other parts Where for instance tiling was being done, it Was hoped to get as satiAfactory a wooden building as was possible under present conditidiiS, he added. The archltect WaS making gooti progress with the plans. u On tne Levin Maternity Home Site the present wooden building has been renoVated and is being use'd as a store for emergchcy equipment. *' , L_
