Speedier Trains To And From Wellington

WELLINGTON, Nov. 22. The aeceleration of the WellingtonNapier expresses and WellingtonPalmerston North local passenger trains, was annouueed today by the Minister of Railways, Mr. Semple. The speeding up of the WellingtonPalmerston Nortb local passenger trains has been effected by seheduling them to run non-stop between Wellington and* Paekakariki. After Monday next the present 8.15 a.m. train to Palmerston North will leave Wellington at 8.25 a.m. Similarly, the present 5.47 p.m. Palmerston North train will leave Wellington at 5.57 p.m. In the reverse direction, the morning passenger train from Palmerston North now due to arrive in Wellington at 10.53 a.m., will arrive at 10.26 a.m. The last named train will depart earlier from all stations between Otaki and Paekakariki.
