AUCKLAND, Nov. 22. Happy about the success of his Auek-. land meeting last night, the Leader oi the Opposition (Mr Holland) spoke confidently about the progress of the National Party to an interviewer this niorning. He said that last night 's meeting was the highlight of the campaign. "I ahvays guard against over-opti-misin, " Mr Holland added, ''but cannot be blind to what is happening. I shall not soon forget the great kindness of the Auckland people." It was not true that the National Party was divided over the control of broadcasting, Mr Holland said. They had not discussed the question because they were of the opinion that it would be better to study control niethods in other countries before niaking a decision. The National Party was* dete.rmined, however, to reniove the abuses of the use of broadcasting. The ser vice belonged to the people.
