Mrs. Eugenie Anderson, of Red Wing, Minnseota, in northcentral United States, who has been nominated by President Harry S. Truman as Ambassador to Denmark, the first woman in United States history to be named to such a diplomatic rank. A native of the midwestern State of Iowa, the 40-year-old Mrs. Anderson is the wife of an artist and the mother of two children.
