AUCKLAND, Nov. 21. Two hundred and eight athletes will probably cbmpete in the British Empire Games track and field athletic events at Eden Park ilext February, aceording to the latest advi'c® received from competing countries by Mr C. L. Cleal, the Games organising secretary. Of these athletes 140 are men and 62 women. Trafck and field events have drawn the biggest number of eiitrahts. Next comes swimming with a total of 139, (84 men and 55 women), followed bv rowing with 56 meil, most of whom will be rowing crews, and fencing with 51 (44 men and 7 women). The total mlmbferS df dntrants for other sports are: — B.oxing 42, cycling 42 lawn bowls 33, Weightliftiilg 32 and wrestling 30. The biggest team will be provided New Zealand with .180 ^entrants. Other teams in order of size are: Australia 169, England 69, Canada 64, South Africa 44, Rhodesia 15, Scotland 15, Fiji 12, Cevlon 12, Malaya 8, Jamhiea 6, Nigdria 4, Wales 3.
