nection with the Body? Our Bodies (physical) are mortai because they are subject to death. (Here read l Cor. 15:35 — Here in the resurrecBion, verse 53). Tnis corruptible (body) must put on incorruption, and this mortai (body) must put on immortality. The Scriptures do not speak of an immortal Soul, this is oniy inferred as we get it in Matt. 10:28. Fear not them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Here the Soul is not subject lo physical death because it is not mortai; , in I Tim. 6:16, referring to Christ, who is King of Kings, and Lord of lords, vprse 15. He oniy hath iminortality. While he was subject to the "death of the Cross," as our substitute for Sin, He was not subject to corruption (even in his physical body, for he saw no corruption, Acts 2:31. He seeing this tiefore spaxe of cbe resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left m hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Reader do you know that the reason for this is because He (Christ) had no Sin in Him, for He was the Sinless One? See 2 Cor. 5:21. For He hath made Him to be sjn for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. BIBLE 1RUTH The Devil — Who is He? JN the religion of Christendom, the devil figures almost more prominently than God. The theology of Christendom plaees the devil in juxtaposition with God. As the one is presented for worship as the source and embodiment of all good, so the otlier is held up for detestation and dread, as the instigator and promoter of all evil. Praetieally, the one is regarded in the light of the good God, and the other as the bad god. It is the polytheism of paganism in its smallest form; and the philosophy of the ancients embodied in names and forms supplied by the Bible. Good and evil are regarded as separate essences, and each is attributed to the control of a separate being. Instead of having a god for war, a god for love, a god for thunder, and so on, down the whole list of nature's phenomena, modern theology confines the ruling powers of the universe to two agencies, with whom respectively it leaves the contest of gcod and evil — God and the devil — a contest in which they measure strength in what would appear to be a somewhat equal encounter.
