Reeeived Friday 7 p.m. CALCUTTA, Nov. 18: A 16-year-old girl who claims to be the reincarnation of Lakshmi, the I Hindu goddess of wealth, is living— and blooming — on an exclusive diet i of flowers and leaves. A medical examination vouched for by an Indian Education Department offieial, has shown that the girl is in perfect health. For the past three months she has been living in the Temple of Ganesh, 1 Lakshmi 's elephant-headed brother. Her daily menu has consisted of ofl'erings of blooms and leaves which devotees bring to the temple.
