N early 68,000 people travelled to and from New Zealand last year. Only in 1938 and 1939 has there been a greater volume of traffic. Out of this shuffling of changed ad'dresses, New Zealand has benefited by building up its permanent population by nearly 5000. Eleven thousand arrived and 6000 went away.
