Reward Offered In Moa Creek Murder
WELLINGTON, Nov. 14. A reward of £500 and indemnity from prosecution, have been offered by the Government in the Moa Creek murder case. On September 28 last, William Prasef Mclntosh, was found dead in the woolshed on his prbperty at Moa Creek, ifl circumstances, it is stated, that suggest his death was wilfttlly causCd. The Government is offering a reward of £500 for informatibn leading to the conviction of ihe person or persops who caused the death and is also offering indemnity against prosecution "to any aceomplice hot being the person whb actually caused the death, who shall Hrst give sueh inf ormation. " It is further stated that if there is more thah one claimant for the reward, the amount will be proportioned by the Commissioner of Police. The reward and indemnity are offered until Mareh 31 next year. The notice is signed by the Minister in charge of the Police Department, Mr Fraser.
