CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 12. "I have always tried to guard against over-optimism, but nobodyr who attended my meetings could be otlier than very optimistic at the outcome of the General Elections,"- said Mr Holland today, reviewing his impressions of the lirst half of his election tour. Mr Holland 's itinerary requires him to cover the length of Nevv Zealand twice, and tomorrow he will begin the second stage when he leaves by road for Nelson. During the past fortnight he has travelled from Auckland in the north to Invercargill in the south. "•Attendances at our meetings have been more than double those of the other side and enthusiasm appears to be quite boundless," continued Mr llol land. "Without counting our chickens before they are hatched I can sav our prospects have never been as good as they are at this moment. ;;
