— ♦ * — Received Sundav, 7 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov, 13. The Minister of , Immigration, Mr Calwell, said New South Wales should be split into at least six States. Australia would have to be divided into at least 30 new states or provinces to push forward the development of eountry districts in the next decade. The absence of progress and "development in eountry districts was due to their dependenee upon State capitals. Sydney and Melbourne had grown strong because they had levied tribute upon the rest of Australia. He was speaking at Narrabri, New South Wales.
