Aged Six And Never Outside House

LONDON, Nov. 11. . A boy born six years ago at St. Helier, Jersey, but who had never left the house, has been admitted to the Jersey District Hospital. When the boy left the house he could hardly bear the winter sunshine and had to be strapped up in bed where he sits closslegged like a tailor. He is unable to talk except to say "hello." He cannot feed himself. A neighbour who recently caught sight of the child caused inquiries which resulted in his rescue. Jer- - sey's medical officer of health has called for a full report on the boy's physical and mental condition. This report will probably be forwarded to the island's Attorney-General.
