Canada Will Send 61 To Empire Games
Received Wednesday 7.20 p.m. OTTAWA, Nov. 8. The organising committee orf the Canadian British Empire Games Associaton has decided to send 61 athletes to the Empire Games in Auckland next February. The assoeiation originally hoped to send 62 to the Games, but sevcral weeks ago annnunced it would send only 50 because of the searcitv of funds. The committee today decided that the assoeiation could raise enough money to send 61, 47 men and 14 women.
