^ , lieceived Moiuluy, 7 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 7. ' ' I am surprised at the Governnient going ahead with petrol rationing in view of tlie availability of non-doiiar petrol, said Mr. J. C. Duneau, assoeiate director of Anipol Limited, who returned by air from London today after negotiating the purchase of P,0(J(J,0UU gallons of French petrol. He added that he was expressing his own opinion based on personal observation and that the Government might have information he did not possess. As far as he knevv there was enough non-dollar petrol available from various sources to prcvent the neeessity for the reintroduetion of rationing. French sellers had assured him thait the petrol tliev offered had no dollar eontent. This petrol wotxld be shipped bv the couipany's own tankers and would reach Australia before Christmas.
