N.Z. Soldiers Unsurpassed For Tactical Combat
— Received Sunday 8.50 p.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 5. New Zealand soldiers were unsurpassed for straight tactical combat whether as desert rats in Afriea or mountain goats in Italy, said the New York Times. It was reviewing "Infautry Brigadier." by the New Zealander, Major-General Sir Howard Kippenberger. The Times quoted General Kippenberger as saying: "It was most interesting to be with the Americans" whon the New Zealauders fought alongsidc the Uaited States troops. The Times' reviewer commented: "The feeling was mutual," and added: "If a book is part of the war's payoff the New Zealanders are well paid by this account."
