Dangers For Children In Cinemas
AUCKLAND, Nov. 3. ' "One sometimes wonders whether parents who allow their young children to go unaccompanied to cinemas are aware of the danger children face, ' ' said Mr Justice Callan in the Supreme Court today. His Honour added that the Court knew of numerous cases of men haunting cinemas, particularly during matinee performances, and assaulting young children of both sexes. The Judge sentenced Leslie Norman Lowe, aged 35, a labourer, to two years ' refortoative detention on a charge of indecently assaulting' a young ,gW.
