Seven Nations Owe Britain Over £300 Million
Received Friday, 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 3. Seven nations owe Great Britain a total of £302,583,000, the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Mr. Gienville Hall, said today. The countries and the amounts they owe are: China, £12,237,000; France, £100,677,000; Netherlands, £42,855,000; Poland, £57,500,000; Turkey, £29,214,000; Russia, £33,120,000; and Czechoslovakia, £26,980,000. The amounts are loans arising out of the war.
