Beeeived Wednesday 6.25 p.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 1. United States business was having a "another tremendous year m J949," despite the steel and eoai strilies Treasury Seeretary John Snyder deelared today. He told the American Bankers' Assoeiation Convention in San Franciseo that the present stoppages could dominate the business picture only temporarily. When they were settled production would be expanded to build up depieted stocks. Mr Snyder said pessimistic predietions that the United States could uot return to the "conditions of abundant supply without severe dislocations of economy have proven unfounded. "
