British offieiaj sources today accepted with eaution Chinese reports that Viet-.; nam Communists from Indochina hadi invaded Kwangsi and Kwangtnng.; They said even if the reports werei true this activity did not necessarilv'; represent any new development as both] the AUetminhese and Chinese Commun-] ist guerrillas had long operated on] both sides of the intemational frontier. ; It is possible that these operations have been intensified iv^ order to eifibarrass] the Nationalist armies hard pressed bv Communist regulars from the north and east. French official sources again report e"d that they had no information on the border developments.
