No Such Thing As Titoism, Says Tito

( N.Z.P.A. -

-Reuter

. Coviiriphi)

Received Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 2. "There is no such thing as Titoism. It is just a word invented by our enemies," Marshal Tito told the Daily Herald's Central European eorrespondent who interviewed him in Belgrade. "It is not we who have "theories. ' All we demand is full equality for all Socialist countries and to be left alone to build Socialism here. "The story that we wish to ally Yugoslavia with the West against the East is just one of the many lies we are fighting all the time. We want better economic and political relations with the East and the West, but it must be clearly understood that we are making no concessions to either »side. We shall stick to our Socialist principles. If the 'West under stands this attitude of ours and is ready to trade with us on a normal business footing without attempting to influence our policy, that is just what we want." The eorrespondent said Tito wants " more visitors to enter his country to see for themselves what is going on. "They will see our many difficulties, but also our steady progress. They can learn the truth. That is all we want — not to make propaganda," said Tito.
