Ed wards ( Auckland) that the conference urges tlie (jovernnient to consider the early revocation of the Uontrol of Prices Act or the release of coutrol of that Act as ad'ecting ilems whare suppiies are ade(piate/to meet the demand, as coutrol iii tliese circumstances is redundant, in-i volves much uneconomic labour and waste of time, and does not have the effect of keepiug prices down, was also carried.
