Received Wednesday, 11.2-5 a.m. WASHINGTON, Nov. 1. At least 54vpersons were killed today in the worst air disaster in America's commercial aviation history, when an airliner and Bolivian Army plane collided in the air near the national airport at Washington. Hundreds of horrified spectators saw the airliner and fighter plane plunge to earth after- col-lid-ing about three hundred feet above the ground. The only knOwn survivor five hours after the collision was the Bolivian pilot of the fighter plane. It is still uncertain whether the airliner carried 50 or 51 passengers in addition to the crew of four.
