New Rockets Will Travel At Amazing Speeds
Received Monday, 10 a.m. WASHINGTON, Oct. 30. United States scientists have produced speeds of about 7600 miles per hour in a new wind tunnel at the Californian Institute of Technology, the Defence Department announced today. The tunnel is being used to develop new rockets. A guided missile designed with the aid of the new tunnel could travel from San Prancisco to Sydney in about an hour.
