Mrs. Hastedt Is Manawatu Golf Champion
Mrs. L. Hastedt, of Levin, a country member of the Manawatu Ladies' Golf Club, won the senior championship at Hokowhitu yesterday when she beat Mrs. B. Clarke, 7 and 5, in the final played over 36 holes. The intermediate champion was Mrs. W. J. Allen, who beat Mrs. T. B. N'e^on 3 and 1 and the junior championship was won by Miss N. MacDonald, who beat Mrs. I. Barnes, 4 and 2. The flight results were as follows: — Senior, Mrs. Bilderbeck beat Mrs. D. H. Cook, 5 and 3; intermediate, Mrs. Adam beat Mrs. E. Ward, 2 up; junior, Mrs. R. A. Bennett beat Mrs. D. J. Bell, 4 and 2.
