Received Thursday, 10.15 a.m. LONDON, Oct. 19. Russia is reported to be undertaking the large-scale production oi a new four-jet medium bomber, aeeording to the 1949-50 edition of "June's All the World's Aircraft" published today. The bomber — a product of the 55-year-old Soviet designer, Sergei Lynshin- — is being produced at the former German Junkers plant, v.bich has been almost wholly reesiablished in Russia. "Jane's" says it is reported that the Junkers JU287 four-jet bomber of Ihe original German design is in limited production. Work is known to be progressing in Russia on air-to-air rocketpropelled missilesi, rocket projectiles. pilotless aircraft and advance designs in the subsomic category.
