Back-Stage Improvements At Regent Theatre
m On the recommendation of Cr. A. W. Parton, it was decided at Monday's meeting of the Levin Borough Council to set up a committee comprising the DeputyMayor, Mr. R. A. Frederikson, and Crs. R. S. Antcliff and A. W. Parton to look into the terms of the contract with United Theatrbs" Ltd., and see what improvements can be effected back-stage of the Regent Theatre. Cr. Parton said that the council owed it to the local theatrical society and others using the theatre to bring about what improvements to that part of the theatre not included in the recent renovation scheme.
