WELLINGTON, Oct. IS. In the House of Representatives today, Mr. W. S. Goosman (Piako) gave notiee to ask the Minister of Supply if the Government intended to announce an increase in the priee of petrol brought about by devaluati'on of sterling, before the election or whether the present price would continue until after November 30. Mr. Goosman said an anhouncement had been made of a prospeetive increase in price. in Britain and the first petrol at the increased price would arrive in New Zeaiand eariy in November.
