SHIP SINKS AFTER BEING GUTTED BY FIRE

NEW YORK, Oct. 17. The Salina Cruz, 1343 tons, en route from Vancouver to Honolulu, overturn* ed and sank in the Paeifie today after being gutted by a blazing cargo of timber.
