'Berlin, oct. 14. Marshal Stalin, in a congratulatory message to the Communist leaders of the new East German Republic, described its creation as the turning point in the history of Europe. In a letter released by the RussianIicensed Adn news agency, Stalin said peaee-loving Germany would find great sympathy and aetive support among ab peoples, including the British, United States, Freneh and Russian. He said that if Russia and Germany fought foi peaee with the same vigour as they sliov ed for war one could consider the peaee of Europe secured. Ihere is no doubt that the existenee of a peaee-loving demoeratic Germany along with the existenee of the peaeeloving Soviet, will exclude the possibihty of new wars in Europe, make an end to European bloodshed, and make nnpossible the servitude of European countries under world imperialism.
