PersonaL Mrs. C. M. Cronquest, of Stout Street, has returned home after spending a short -holiday at Timaru. Mr. and Mrs. MacDdnald,, of Mangaore, have arrived home after a holiday visit to Invercargill. Foxton River Loop. The Foxton Borough Council is far from satisfied at the replies it has received from the Minister of Works regarding the river loop problem, and at a recent meeting it was decided to obtain a legal opinion as to whether the Government has any right to deprive Foxton of its natural water supply. Successful Dance. Members of the Shannon Young Anglican Cluib held a very successful dance in the Parish Hall last evening. There was a good attendance of dancers from all over the district. Mrs. T. Fuller, of Moutoa, provided the music and a delightful supper was arranged by members and a foand of helpers.
