The removal of Mr Churchill from the leadership of the Conservative Party would have little effect upon the election prospects of the Conservatives, according to a public opinion survey, results of which were published today by the London News Chronicle. Ten per cent of those questioned said Mr Churchill 's removal would make them Joss inclined to vote Concervative and ten per cent said it would make them inore inclined. Among the Conservatives, ten per cent said they favoured a change of leadership and 12 per cent said «they were against it. Pifty-two per cent of all those questioned said a change would have no effect and 21 per cent said they would not vote Conservative anyway. Seventy-four per cent of the Conservatives said a change in leadership would have no effect.
